Baseball Advantage Training Staff
Jay Gainer Former professional baseball player, coach and manager. See About Jay for more. Roderick Greggs Roderick pitched at the collegiate level at Paine College. He also holds a Master's degree in education. He has coached at many levels helping players ranging in age from 9 to 19. He has been to coaching clinics in California, Texas, Oregon and multiple Camps in Washington state. He is versed in the latest upper forms and techniques in use today at the highest levels of pitching instruction. He also has many years of experience teaching and helping young hitters with their batting as well. Travis Hansen Travis a disciplined, well-liked and organized coach, Travis offers instruction at Baseball Advantage in pitching and hitting and also coaches for the Dirt Dawgs. Travis played his high school baseball and football in the Spokane area where he was a standout in both sports. he later went on to play at the collegiate level in baseball at Wenatchee Valley CC. and Gonzaga U. Ramon Downing Ramon played for the Arizona Diamondbacks farm system as a switch-hitting infielder. Ramon played for Jay here in Yakima as part of the Yakima Bears in 2005. Ramon reached the AA level and has begun his coaching career here in Yakima serving as head coach of the Dirt Dawgs 13U team. Ramon also hails from the Dominican Republic, but saw college action here in the states and was drafted out of college. |

Baseball Advantage/ Advantage Athletic Camps ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF RISKS AND RELEASE OF CLAIMS ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF RISKS.
I understand that my participation in the Baseball Advantage/ Advantage Athletic Camps sports camp program, personal instruction, or facility rental involves potential risks to my health or safety. Such risks may include falls, collisions with other participants, heat exhaustion, rhabdomyolysis, paralyzation, broken bones, torn ligaments, sprains, concussions, heart failure, permanent injury and such other injuries or illnesses as can occur in the course of vigorous physical activity. THE USE OF PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT IS REQUIRED (BATTING HELMET AND ATHLETIC CUP). Participation in any athletic program or use of any facility is voluntary. All persons using the batting cages or filedhouse facility for any purpose acknowledge and voluntarily assume the risks of my participation, whether such risks result from my own negligence, the negligent acts or omissions of others, faulty equipment, or otherwise. I further understand that I am solely responsible for determining whether I am physically capable of participating in the program and posess proper knowledge to use the fcaility and equipment in a safe menner and whether I have any medical or health condition that would prevent me from participating safely. I hereby authorize BA/AAC staff to seek emergency medical services for me should I become injured or ill with the understanding that I will be solely responsible for any and all resulting medical expenses. WAIVER AND RELEASE OF CLAIMS. As a condition of my being permitted to participate in the BA/AAC sports camp program, training, or use of facilities I hereby waive and release any claims that I or my estate may have against BA/AAC or its staff or volunteers based on any injuries, illnesses, or property damage that I may sustain as a result of my participation in the program. If the participant is under the age of 18, the consent of a parent or guardian is required acknowledging and accepting the above risks of my child’s participation in the program, and I waive and release any claims that may arise.
